Privacy, kept simple.
Your family’s written prayer intentions, prayer progress, and private prayer rhythm history stay on your device. The app has no advertising, account system, session recording, or personally identified visitor profile.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Living Prayer, a True Image Company app, handles information in its iPhone and Android apps and at prayer.trueimageco.com.
Information stored on your device
The app may save Rosary and novena progress, your current step in the Walk Through the Mass practice, optional prayer intentions, the dates and types of completed prayer experiences used to calculate Your Prayer Rhythm, reading-size preference, app language, narrator preference, offline audio and imagery, and reminder preference locally on your device. Your written intentions are never sent. The private rhythm history is not uploaded as a personal prayer log; selected anonymous completion events may be included in the usage statistics described below.
Make it yours stores an optional first name or nickname and selected interests only on this device. These are not sent to analytics or synced. Usage statistics require your opt-in, which you may withdraw at any time. Random identifiers let us count repeat visits; this is pseudonymous measurement, not a guarantee of complete anonymity.
Manage preferences and privacy
Information we do not collect
- No online account, uploaded personal profile, password, contact list, or advertising identifier.
- No written prayer intentions, Find a Saint search words, microphone recordings, copied text, or unrelated typed content. A Why We Believe question is stored only when you intentionally suggest it for review.
- No precise location, health data, payment information, cross-app tracking, behavioral advertising, or sale of information.
- No session replay, device fingerprinting, or personally identified history joining one person’s visits.
Optional usage statistics
Current status: Off on this device.
Usage statistics are off until you allow them. With permission, PostHog receives approved categories for pages, experiences, prayer milestones, narration, settings and feature outcomes. Events include a random browser identifier, a visit-session identifier, version, hostname, deployment and broad traffic classification. The browser identifier persists until you withdraw permission or clear site data. A session ends after 30 minutes without activity or 24 hours. These measure returning browsers, not exact people; this is pseudonymous measurement, not complete anonymity. No prayer names or text, intentions, personal preferences, searches, question or answer content, audio, prayer-history values, reminder details, payment information, IP addresses, raw user-agent strings or location are included. Turning statistics off stops new events and removes local analytics identifiers, but does not erase previously collected events. Browser privacy signals are respected.
Narration
The Rosary primarily uses the app’s 316 approved prerecorded narration files. Gospel, Sacred Today, novena, traditional prayer, and saint intercession prayer narration is generated through OpenAI using the public devotional text, selected language, and selected narrator. Written intentions and Find a Saint search words are never included in generated-narration requests. Device speech is used only if audio cannot be loaded. The app does not record your voice, use your microphone, or send private device content. Generated audio may be cached so it can play again without another request.
Optional device features
If you enable a prayer reminder, your device stores and delivers that notification locally. If you use Share, information is sent only to the person or service you choose in the device’s share sheet. You can change notification access in device settings.
Website operation
Like most websites, the hosting service may process ordinary technical logs, such as an IP address, browser type, and request time, to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse. True Image Co. does not use those logs to create profiles or track visitors across services. If you intentionally suggest a Why We Believe question, its text and selected language are stored in a private review list and emailed to the ministry owner through Resend. It is never published automatically. If you report a generated answer, the question, generated answer, selected language, and optional note are emailed privately to the ministry owner for safety and quality review. OpenAI processes generated-narration and optional generated-answer requests from the app’s server under its applicable service terms; your written prayer intentions are not included.
Support email
If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them only to answer your request and retain them only as reasonably necessary for support and recordkeeping.
Children and families
The app is suitable for family prayer and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a support message.
Your choices
You can remove local prayer progress, prayer rhythm history, cached audio, and cached imagery by clearing the website’s stored data or deleting the app. You may disable notifications in device settings. To ask that a support email, suggested Why We Believe question, or generated-answer report be deleted, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices change, this page will be updated before the new practice begins and the effective date above will be revised.
