Bring the impossible

Begin

✠ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

God of hope, You called Saint Jude to follow Jesus and proclaim the Gospel. Receive the difficult need I place before You. Through his intercession, keep me close to Christ and faithful to Your loving will.

Scripture · Luke 1:37

The angel announces that nothing will be impossible with God.

Reflect

A desperate situation can narrow our vision until all we see is the obstacle. Saint Jude points beyond the obstacle to Christ. Hope begins by naming the truth and then remembering who God is.

Let us pray

God of the impossible, I bring You what I cannot repair or carry alone. Through the intercession of Saint Jude, protect me from despair and open my heart to the help, wisdom, and grace You desire to give.

Saint Jude, apostle of hope in difficult causes, intercede for us.

Carry it into the day

Write your intention in one honest sentence, without minimizing or exaggerating it.

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

✠ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
